Alarming Health Dangers Tied to Camp Lejeune’s Toxic Water
If you or a family member lived, worked, or served at Camp Lejeune for 30 cumulative days between August 1, 1953 and December 31, 1987 and developed cancer or other serious health issues, you may be eligible to receive compensation from the government.
According to the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry, as many as one million military and civilian staff and their families may have been exposed to contaminated drinking water at Camp Lejeune between 1953 and 1987, putting their health and well-being at risk.

Veterans, Family Members, and Civilians Who Lived, Worked, or Were Stationed at Camp Lejeune May Be Entitled to
Significant Compensation
According to the bill, an individual who worked, resided, or was exposed for 30 days or more between August 1, 1953 and December 31, 1987 to toxic water at Camp Lejeune and subsequently was diagnosed with a presumptive condition may be eligible to file.
Additionally, those exposed to toxic water at Camp Lejeune while in the womb (in utero) and diagnosed with a presumptive condition listed above may be eligible to file.
A claim may be filed by an individual or a loved one who is suffering / passed away from cancer or another severe disease or illness which:
- Was caused by exposure to toxic water at Camp Lejeune.
- Was associated with exposure to the tainted water.
- The exposure to Camp Lejeune water may have increased the likelihood of harm or death.
